It is probably one of the quickest film concert adaptations ever!
Two-Oscars winning movie directed by Todd Philipps, “Joker is about the youth of Batman’s sworn enemy and out this past October 9, 2019. The movie is now subject to a film concert with a live orchestra on Friday March 11, 2022 at Boulogne Billancourt Seine Musicale.
If this year, film concert fans (which is when a movie plays on a big screen along with a live orchestra playing the original soundtrack) will be able to attend “Blade Runner”, “Tomb Raider”, or even “The Terminator” in Paris, cult movies that are pretty old, they’ll have the chance to see a (very) recent movie: “Joker” starring Joaquin Phoenix as this psychopath killer.
“Joker” is a world hit critically acclaimed. It has just been released in digital in France and it counts up to 5.5 million entrances. It started collecting awards at the Venice Mostra in September 2019 where it won the Golden Lion. Then, it’s been awarded two Golden Globes: for best actor in a drama for Joaquin Phoenix and best music for the original soundtrack written by Icelandic cello player Hildur Guðnadóttir.
Then, these two artists have been rewarded at the BAFTAs and the Oscars 2020.
For this exceptional film concert screening of “Joker”, Hildur Guðnadóttir’s music will be performed live by an orchestra.
If you liked this “Joker” or if you haven’t seen this movie yet, this is time to catch up and with some exceptional conditions.
