Neo and Trinity are back in the new Matrix Resurrections adventures, a feature film out in France on December 22, 2021 and directed by Lana Wachowski. A movie, the fourth instalment of the saga, out 18 years after Matrix Revolutions by the Wachowski brothers.
The movie stars some of the original cast including Keanu Reeves (Toy Story 4, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run…), Carrie-Anne Moss (Daredevil, The Defenders…), Jada Pinkett Smith (Gotham, Angel Has Fallen…), Lambert Wilson (De Gaulle, Benedetta…), Yahya Adbul Mateen II (Candyman, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom…), Neil Patrick Harris (Downsizing, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent…), or even Priyanka Chopra (Isn’t it Romantic, We Can Be Heroes…). Only Lawrence Fishburn (Morpheus) and Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith) are missing… But we are sure we will hear from them short of a cameo. Let us discover the trailers together!
Plot:
In two realities – daily life and what hides behind – Thomas (Keanu Reeves) will have to choose again to follow the white rabbit. The choice – although an illusion – remains the only way in and out of the matrix which has never been this dangerous. Directed, produced and co-written by Lana Wachowski.
