Netflix: a Stranger Things event held at the Cirque D'Hiver Bouglione, our report

What was Netflix cooking up for an upcoming happening? This Wednesday May 11, at 5 p.m., the SVOD platform announced a new and free event inspired by one of its greatest series, Stranger Things, for the launch of the 1st part of Season 4, on May 27. An event called "Stranger Things Festival" and taking place from May 26 to 29, 2022 at the Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione.

The day before, on Tuesday May 10, the announcement was made with a very mysterious announcement in a tweet, setting up a meeting with Parisians on Wednesday May 11, to precise coordinates for a surprise event for the release of one of its contents.

A message written upside down, that reads once in the right way: “17H les 500 premiers arrivés 48.86337, 2.34838 Demain” (or: “5 p.m. the first 500 people 48.86337, 2.34838 Tomorrow”). You are then expected at the coordinates (the Reset Bar, rue du cygnet in Paris 1^st arrondissement), this May 11, at 5 p.m., for a surprise event.

As for the entertainments for this Stranger Things event, note the upside down is taking over the Cirque d'Hiver and invites fans of the series to enjoy many immersive entertainments: cheerleading, roller disco, makeup session, challenges at the video game arcade cabinets... Lots of things to enjoy on 1000sqm of surface to dive in to the heart of the 80's, like in the series.

An immersive experience we enjoyed... Beyond the particularly well-made décor, the entertainments are fun: makeup workshop, quizz, video game arcade cabinet, Hawkins High radio studio, encounter with the Demogorgon, teaching of telekineses, roller dance... It will keep you busy for 45 minutes.

If you managed to get a ticket in, and want to do everything, we recommend you do not stay too long at each station, the first provided over the course of the tour are not timed. And time flies. Once in the Hawkins high school part, entertainments last two minutes each (there are three of them, and a fourth including the photo booth). The latter may be more interesting and the immerison level is higher.

Anyway, Netflix did it perfectly and will please fans who managed to sign up to the event. And for the others, this new and last season starts on Friday May 27. This is the occasion to dive into the universe of the series... Hoping Netflix extends this great event if you could not go.
