La Villette open-air film festival will be back in 2021 in Paris. On the menu: a month of free movie screenings on La Villette lawn, from July16 23 to August 22, keeping barrier gestures up!

La Villette open-air film festival is one of the greatest event in the summer. This year again, we are happy to reunite with the traditional open-air movie festival in La Villette held from July 16 to August 22, 2021, enabling us to (re)discover movie classics, new movies and unexpected gems.

Meet from Wednesday to Sunday, on the fresh grass of the park of La Villette or comfortably seated on a deckchair rented on the spot. This year's edition theme is "Destinies". La Villette offers us to discover a gallery of characters inspired by real stories, movies about dramatic or magnificent destinies, and still extraordinary.

Last year, La Villette open air film festival screened movies like "Mad Max: Fury Road" by George Mille, "Into the Wild" by Sean Penn, or even the fantastic "North by Northwest" by Alfred Hitchcokc, without forgetting the unmissable "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" by Peter Jackson. An ecclectic program likely to delight all audiences.

This year, enjoy a new program just as delightful with "The Wind Rises", "Coco before Chanel", "Invictus", "Harvey Milk" as well as "First Man", and "Amadeus".
