A night to change the world, a night to think and wake up with new possibilities, here is the project for this special edition of the Nuit des Idées. As meetings are banned, over 200 events and a big 24-hour global live will be provided acorss the world to think about the future, with high-quality lecturers gathered by the Institut Français.
The 2021 theme, "Proches" [Close Ones] has been selected as an echo to the coronavirus epidemic and the lockdowns it led to. The idea behind the theme: "enabling the transformation of our relationship to space and mobilities, new solidairties the crisis of our economical and social patterns call to build over, or the place of digital in our societies, that has changed our relationship to the world more than ever".
A few names have been given such as Eric Baudelaire, Wendy Delorme, Claire Fercak, Tamara Al Saadi, Feurat Alani, Nicolas Laisné, Alexandra Sand, Julien Daillère and even Dominik Moll, the program of the Nuit des Idées 2021 will be presented on January 14, 2021.
Last year's theme, "being alive", echoed to some issues in our world, such as the threats weighing on the environment and the promises of the digital revolution.
