After being held online last year over Covid, the centre des arts in Enghien-les-Bains welcomes movie fans again for the 2022 edition of the Paris Images Digital Summit. Devoted to special effects, the festival will take place from January 26 to 29, 2022, providing many meetings and conferences about the latest VFX trends and digital creation. The event will be hybrid, both on site and online.
Among the highlights, the screening of Apollo 13 with Rob Legato - VFX supervisor - guided tour of the Interstellaire exhibition currently held at the center, as well as conferences about metaverse, augmented television, motion capture, and more technologies of the future. The festival is also to welcome the Digital Creation GENIE Awards aiming at honoring visual effect and French digital creation talents. As for the award ceremony will be held on Wednesday January 26, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. at the Théâtre du Casino.
For professionals or budding moviemakers, the PIDS festival is the place to be to discover schools, temporary show business workers or professionals. Many entertainments and panels are planned all along the fair, all you need to satisfy your curiosity about the cinematic world.
