Focus on chocolate trends:

  • Educational chocolate: an emerging trend. Bean-to-bar, tree-to-bar and earth-to-bar production methods, which promote responsible, fair-trade production, are in the spotlight. Chocolates can now be enjoyed like fine wines, with particular attention paid to terroirs and harvesting methods.
  • Made in Origine": for the first time, chocolate-producing countries are showcasing their locally-produced chocolates, from countries such as New Zealand, Bali, Côte d'Ivoire, Venezuela and Jamaica.
  • Chocolatier: an increasingly feminine profession: The 2023 edition shows a growing balance with the welcome of female-run houses such as 20° Nord, 20° Sud; Acaoyer; Hasnâa Chocolats Grands Crus and many others.

Children are not to be outdone, with a whole program and a dedicated area for little chocolate crunchers.
