Craving chic and colors? Coralie Prévert is the designer likely to elevate your Fall looks. She provides kimonos and scarves made of natural silk to wear starting now. Meet at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs or at Le Bristol hotel to discover her universe.

This designer is really one of our favorites: Coralie Prévert – who provides silk kimonos and scarves with wonderful prints. After working for a while in Italy as print designer, the designer comes back to Paris and launches in 2016 her geometric and colorful print brand. You can find her designs at Oaris Musée des Arts Décoratifs, at Le Bristol hotel, as well as at by Marie (2nd arrondissement), Sfumato (17th arrondissement) or at Créations Epicées (18th arrondissement). You can browse the different points of sale in France and the world on the brand’s website.

Quality creations made with love, care and precision; this is what Coralie Prévert provides. Inspired by the architecture from the 30’s, the avant-gardes from the early 19th century and the design from the 50’s, she created elegant clothing lines with a bit of soul, adorned with lovely quotes in French or Italian.

Member of the Une autre mode est possible label, Coralie Prévert is committed and supplies creations made by hand with quality fabrics, and a particular care taken at each step of the fabrication process. Kimonos and scarves are made of natural silk, noble fiber par excellence, that brings an unparalleled comfort. As for patterns, they are all printed in Italy, in the Come region. Finishes are sophisticated and each scarf is rolled by hand, a precise process that takes between 40 and 50 minutes per piece to make sure it will hold on.

We particularly like the short “Can che abbaia non morde” [dog who barks doesn’t bite] kimono and its geometric patterns in blue-green and orange colors (€312).

We also particularly love the leather goods line made in partnership with NaSoNgo Atelier. Honorable mention to the €85-belt made of vegetable tanned leather (based on natural products and free from chemical products) from Italy. It’s perfect for the kimonos, as well as for our dresses, shirts and tunics. Cardholders are made by hand and absolutely lovely (€23.80), so is the Paper Bag for €165.80, a unique piece made of leather and nubuck that looks like the paper bags rolled on the top.

And good news is these wonderful prints are available as homeware version: wallpapers, adhesive tiles and furniture fabrics.

On the website, enjoy the “Caro Diario” section, a little blog where Coralie Prévert tells us more about the fabrication process, news and tips to wear her scarves and she tells us about her favorite exhibitions and movies too. She also shares the different steps of her entrepreneur career, like this post where she explains us all it took for her to create her first tags. Very fascinating!
