Misericordia: committed fashion from Lima to Paris

This September we want to go on a committed shopping spree. Meet at Misericordia in Paris 11th arrondissement to discover a whole comfortable and affordable ready-to-wear clothing line coming straight from Lima.

Misericordia is all about committed fashion, men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, ethically made in Peru and distributed in France. Urban pieces that are sophisticated and comfortable. You can shop the line in one of the two stores of the brand in Paris, in the 11th arrondissement, rue de Charonne and rue Oberkampf.

It’s artist and globe-trotter Aurelyen who’s created Misericordia, a challenge and a human adventure before anything else. In Lima’s slums, he met a team of designers with whom he tries this challenge: creating a local project mixing art creation and social commitment. This is how Misericordia was born!

In 2003, Misericordia releases its very first collection. The success is here, and the brand is quickly distributed at Colette, then opens two stores in Paris.

High-quality ready-to-wear brand, Misericordia relies on an artisanal organization that looks like an haute-couture studio. Well-paid employees, non-stop training and empowerment, so is the secret to the success. We love the inspiring motto “Manos, Espiritu y Corazón” which can be translated by Hands, Spirit and Heart with which are made all the clothes.

Sweaters, t-shirts, jackets and shirts as well as accessories, there’s something for everyone. We particularly love the embroidered black cotton sweater Gloria Cometa (€145) that takes us to another galaxy.
