Barbie’s life-size house at Paris Galeries Lafayette Haussmann

To celebrate Barbie’s 60^th birthday, Paris welcomes for the first time the house of the iconic doll in actual size! To discover it, you have to run to the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, 6^th floor from November 4 to December 31, 2019.

Genuine source of inspiration for little girls, counting up to 200 jobs, six presidential races, a travel to the moon before Neil Armstrong himself, Barbie shows them they can be whatever they want, from princess to president, via astronaut or zoologist.

Along her birthday, the Galeries Lafayette sets us Barbie Dreamhouse in actual size at the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. Before getting in there, you walk through a large door and if you look well, a ball pit expects children while a giant mailbox can get letters.

Then, you can get in Barbie’s house where you can find a living room, a kitchen a bedroom and a large closet. No matter if you’re a child or an adult, you’ll have fun with Barbie’s clothes, eat her (plastic) meals and collapse on her bed and watch TV. We all feel the child inside us especially when we put our heads in the aquarium!
