This is a store that opened out of the blue, and it feels like it has always been there. To discover it, head to the Latin Quarter, a stone’s throw from the Jardin du Luxembourg. Inside, one is propelled to a universe mixing decoration items, daily life objects that are not oh-so ordinary, and antiquities in a striking scenery making us feel like traveling between today’s Paris and yesterday’s Paris, more especially from the 18th century. Some items are an ode to Paris, his city of heart, through details immediately reminding us of the capital city. Others take us on Marin’s travels to Sicily, Portugal or even Greece, in a swirl of scents and elements transcribing the South’s sunny scenery.
