Paris Design Week and Cara loves Karl pop-up store, Fall at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées

In September, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées expects you for a double date. First for Paris Design Week with the Paradis Perdus exhibition. The second, the opening of an exclusive Cara loves Karl pop-up stores within the atrium of the department store.

On September 8, Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées and brand Karl Lagerfeld have unveiled an exclusive pop-up store as part of the launch of the capsule Cara Loves Karl collection. This collection - made in parternship with actress, model and activist Cara Delevingne - celebrates her friendship with fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Roothed in their philosophy and common passions, the capsule includes innovative, unisex and transformable models made with eco-friendly materials. Dive into an immersive and futuristic universe and discover avatars of Cara and Karl through an augmented reality animation. Up to October 3!

This September, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées also expect all design fans and take part in two major events of the Parisian life: the Fashion Week and European Heritage Days.

As part of the Paris Design Week, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées gives free rein to two former resident artists from the Design, Fashion and Art Office to express their creativity within the store's private apartment. The Paradis Perdus exhibition by Mathilde Gullaud and Marina Ladreyt will run from September 9 to 18, upon dree admission, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., on the second floor of the store. In a staging haflway between science-fiction and fantasty, the two artists provide a dialog between their two creative, colorful, fun worlds, coming from their incredible imaginaries.

For the first time this year, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées takes part in the 39th edition of European Heritage DAys, held on September 17 and 18, themed on "Sustainable Heritage". On the occasion, the store throws guided tours enabling each and every visitor to dive into the history of the iconic landmark, from its construction back to 1929 to house the First National City Bank to nowadays. The tour will end in the store's private lounge to discover the Paradis Perdus exhibition. Tours are held every hour on September 17 and 18, from 11 a.m., and only upon registration at:
