The sun is setting earlier, a sign that Christmas is just around the corner in Paris and the famous Christmas Windows. This year, BHV Marais has decided to take us to Italy, as part of the partnership with ITA, the governmental origanization supporting internationally-based Italian companies in order to promote the "Made in Italy" excellence in the world.
As a result, Italian products are given pride of place in the store, and especially the Christmas windows showing scenes with animated wooden puppets including the famous Italian puppet, Pinocchio.
For before being popularized with Walt Disney's 1940 cartoon, Pinocchio was created in 1881 by Italian journalist and writer Carlo Collodi.
Pinocchio is not the only star of BHV Marais 2020 Cristmas Windows. A cat and a bird are also to be found, between tableware for Christmas dinner and toy factory. The whole being richly decorated with Christmas trees and light strings.
By the windows, cabins turned into mini street theaters will give pride of place to craftsmen and women here to present their Christmas creations, and a selection of the best products from EATALY will warm you up during your Christmas stroll as soon as allowed.
But Italy is mostly coming to the store with exclusive products presented on the occasion with guest stars, such as tableware by Borgo Delle Tovaglie, household linen by Lisa Corti or vases and chalices by Nason Moretti.
Items to get on click&collect on the store's website.
Windows to admire, for locals or workers nearby, or when collecting your purchase.
Please note BHV L'Homme window, set on the street behind, on rue de la Verrerie, has also been decorated for Christmas.
