With over 83,500 participants in 2016, the Mud Day is now part of the major obstacle races in France. Started in 2013 by Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O), this sporting and fun event managed to conquer a large audience and will take places this year in 3 French villages including Beynes in the Parisian region, on Saturday May 26 and Sunday May 27, 2018.
It’s within Beynes (Yvelines) army camp and covering 13-km that the brave Mud Guys will throw themselves in the mud and once again, either they are solo or with a team, they will have to face 22 obstacles thoroughly prepared by the organization. Delighted to offer an important physical and mental challenge, this race also aims at encouraging solidarity between runners.
Here is a list of the most popular obstacles:
Mud Day Training Camps, managed by Urban Challenge coaches, are also set up in order to prepare Mud Guys as well as possible. On the menu: push-ups, squats, abs exercises, crossing obstacles, in short, a general rehearsal before the big day!
As it happens every year, a Mud Day village will be set up on the event location. Participants will find many entertainments (warm-up and stretching sessions, DJ sets, Get Ready tent) as well as many catering areas.
Please note that the registration for the edition 2018 will be open from January 10, 2018!
