Every year, calls for offer are launched to galvanize the city and never let it sleep. As confirmed by L’Arche, the project selected to animate the Port de Javel, where one can already enjoy food trucks in the La Javelle area.
This side of Paris – left out still a couple years ago – now welcomes this spring 2022 a pool complex, including an Olympic pool (outside the Seine River to start with), gyms, training areas and balneotherapy corners covering 1,000sqm.
This 1,000sqm superstructure will be a gym open to all, “with rates as affordable as possible within limit of profitability”, according to Why Not Production development manager entrusted with the project. To access the club, you shall pay a yearly fee, belong to one of the clubs of the region or pay by the entrance. “The idea is not to be a private club but a place likely to meetings, with installations for everyone”, Sébastien Marques told Cnews.
But that is not all, this building measures 110m long and 15m wide, and is to be deployed on dry land as well, covering a 4,500sqm total surface.
Underneath the 50m open-air swimming pool, on the ground floor, a guinguette is to be expected with a large bar to have a great time by the water. At this very level, enjoy the cloakroom, the balneotherapy center and the training center. Climb down the steps to enter the hold, and enjoy the 100-seat dance hall and the famous gyms including a cycling one.
Deckchairs on the pier, terraces and even rooftop will soon expect you all.
L’Arche does not stop there, since another guinguette is planned on the pier, another spot where squash field and even open-air movie screenings will be provided! Only great thinks are coming to enjoy roaming around the Quai de Javel.
