The biggest sports tournament dedicated to lightsaber is finally back at the Stade Charléty, with nearly 72 competitors expected and many animations that make theFrench Lightsaber Open so unmissable. See you on May 26 and 27, 2023 to admire the best Jedi in the galaxy!
Since 2019, the French Federation of Fencing officially recognizes the Laser Saber as a sport practice. Thus, the greatest dreams of fans of the Star Wars saga come to life, with real-life lightsaber fights, a playful evolution of more traditional martial arts! Throughout the event, you can come and support, encourage and applaud the fighters with styles as different as they are effective, but also learn to wield the saber yourself, adult or child!
After Daniel Logan last year, actor Tim D. Rose will be present on Saturday, May 27, all day long, for signing sessions and photos, as well as a masterclass. Come and meet the famous Admiral Ackbar of the rebel fleet, in Star Wars! A great opportunity to enjoy a pop culture weekend with incredible activities. In addition to the tournaments, you can buy your own lightsaber, meet the Imperial Alliance, try quidditch, take a seat aboard Obi-Wan Kenobi's life-size ship and even enjoy some great fantasy food from La Plume de Phénix ! Admission is by free donation, starting at one euro.
