Exercise to suit your mood... That's what Episod offers, the new sports center opening on October 23, 2017 on Place de Clichy. A center that also offers the possibility of a 100% immersive experience thanks to aspirational coaches and rather unusual scenographies.
The concept is quite surprising: a room that can be modulated at will where you can practice all kinds of sports, teachers coming from all professional backgrounds but expert in sports activities (French, European or World champion in their field for the most part), and an unprecedented background sound, unmatched until now and created by the Hauteville music agency.
The idea: "to engage in reasoned sport ", with attention to the health of the body (avoiding injury while surpassing oneself). In all, three moods and five disciplines are on offer: on the mood side, you can choose between " #MoodHappy " for letting off steam and having fun, " #MoodUltra " for those seeking performance, and " #MoodSpirit " for those who want to " develop their vital energy ".
In terms of disciplines (included in the "Mood" category), there's the Studio Ride for indoor cycling, the Studio Burn for cardio training enthusiasts, the Studio Shape for those who want to build deep muscles, the Studio Box for cardio boxing, and finally the Studio Zen for finishing your session with relaxation or pilates.
There's no membership system here: just book your ticket online and come whenever you like. Amateur or more experienced sportsmen and women buy credits which enable them to come whenever they like. A credit costs 27 euros, but offers are also available: from 125 euros for 5 credits to 540 euros for 30. There really is something for everyone... Another hub is due to open at the end of the year in the Sentier district.
