Cinematir: a hunting simulator in Paris

Cinematir is a bit the hunting 2.0. It’s the first hunting simulator that offers, through varied scenarios, to train or get introduced to this discipline.

Occasional hunters or people wishing to give it a go, it’s for you. Hunting is possible at the heart of Paris itself. Head to Boulevard Raspail, where Cinematir is set. It’s the first hunting simulator in the French capital, and the least we can say is that it’s at the cutting edge of technology. Are we facing the future of hunting? Is it the beginning of a Black Mirror episode?

For this uncommon experience, the place resorted to the ST-2 simulator, a Swedish technology relying on a very in-depth analysis on a target, no matter if it is moving or not. It enables to work on rapidity and hunters 2.0.’s reaction time. In the course of your session, you will find yourself in front of an 18-sqm HD screen (please!), presenting scenarios with which you have to interact. Captors located on your gun enable to recreate your shots in a realistic way. And no question to damage your eardrums, the shooting noises are totally modular.

Small or big game, ball trap, there are many ways to customize your session according to how you want to process. For each one of them, you can shoot 200 times, next their impacts and your movements are analyzed so that you can improve your performances.
