This year, you can’t say that it’s not easy to get there. You have no excuse; the Spartan Race takes once again over the legendary Stade de France. This Saturday March 21, 2020, many runners are expected to take up the Spartan Stadion, a race made of several obstacles to overcome (much more than for the Sprint version).
For this exceptional session, it’s a short format that is provided. Good riddance to the 8-mile race, it's a 5k race that awaits you. Consequently, the race is accessible to high-level athletes, but it includes more obstacles and most of all, they are close to one another.
Well, don’t think it’s going to be easy peasy, that you can do it with one hand tied behind your back! You have to survive the many obstacles, without taking into account that if you can’t do it, there will be sanctions (you better succeed, trust me on this): 15 burpees for whoever can't take up each obstacle (it was 30 for the edition 2018). Climbing, carrying, pulling… in the bleachers, the backstage area, the pitch, a nice challenge expects you. As for the departure, this year people leave by wave of 10 participants.
And what’s fun in a stadium, it’s that, there are seats to attend the exploits of our brave sportsmen and sportswomen. No need to be on the side of the race, that is full of mud, you’ll be nicely seated in the grandstands to support the brave ones, the whole for €5. But note that each participant can get two free tickets. Those who want 3 tickets or more will have to pay €5 per extra ticket.
Well, now you only have to find torture buddies to experience this beautiful sporting event at the Stade de France!
