We know it since June 2017, France is to welcome FIFA Women’s World Cup. All in all, 9 cities have been selected to host football matches from June 7 to July 7, 2019. Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Nice, Paris, Reims, Rennes and Valenciennes are the winners for this cup likely to gather thousands of supporters.
According to FIFA’s Head Gianni Infantino: “This first step on the road to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 is an important one, as the Host Cities play a major role in the success of the tournament. France has a wealth of experience in organizing international competitions and I am delighted that FIFA’s flagship competition for women’s football will benefit from it”.

For Jean-François Martins, Paris Deputy Mayor entrusted with sport, tourism, Olympics and Paralympics, “Paris is proud to welcome the world’s greatest event in women’s sport at Parc des Princes. We wish to make it a major popular and festive event in Paris with a support program in schools, with companies, shops and general public to develop women’s football”.
The competition will take place from June 7 to July 7, 2019 and stage the world’s best 24 women’s football teams, in a competition scheme identical to EURO 2016’s. we’re looking for reliving the same moments of sharing as in 2016 with the same passion.
