If you already have had physio with a sport physician, you may know what this device looks like.
Fit Wave is a new sport device that has been designed with physiotherapists but to be used as a working-out device and not for physio.
The very first gym dedicated to the Fit Wave machine has just been inaugurated in La Défense near Puteaux at the foot of the EDF tower.
What’s Fit Wave’s concept? A new method of sport coaching with a machine relying on a smart 3D oscillating base.
Your goal? Resist the base instability while working out. Movements that mostly uses the abdominal truss, back muscles, rear end and leg muscles. Fit Wave enables you to work every body areas out and to aim at precise goals.
The device also enables you to practice healthy muscle-development exercises without any shock since the base movements respect those of the human body joints.
All along the programs, the device offers you various exercises to make you unbalanced and use every single muscle in your body, especially thanks to exercises to work on flexibility, muscle tone and joint mobility.
But before anything else, you have to start with a checkup to list your goals. A checkup that also enables you to discover the base and start understanding how Fit Wave works.
Then, each session lasts 25 minutes.
It’s better to do one session per week if you haven’t worked out in a long time. You can go for two sessions a week if you used to work out regularly. Fit Wave can also be used as a complement to sport activities.
With Fit Wave, a coach follows you since coaching isn’t only virtual but also real.
As a matter of fact, in the beginning, you’ll be supervised by a coach (a coach is present daily from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). But, once you know how to use it, you can come and work out on your own, outside your coach’s time slots.
Moving on to prices, Fit Wave is brand-new and super nice so obviously, new and innovative have a cost.
Each session is worth €44. The 8-session pack costs €299 (that is to say €37 per session) and the 16-session pack costs €549 (or €34 per session).
As for the yearly pack, it costs €99 per month for one session per week and €149 per month for two weekly sessions.
We’ve had the chance to try Fit Wave and the device definitely suits every level.
Without violence, the session unfolds under the best possible conditions. And moreover, we had no sore muscles the next day.
Let’s try Fit Wave to stay in shape, shall we? With 2019 coming up, it’s time to make new resolutions…
