It’s the rugby event of this weekend in Paris! On Sunday February 9, 2020 France welcomes Italy at the Stade de France as part of the 2020 Six Nations Championship. For its second game at home, the French team hopes to enjoy a second victory against a less strong team on paper.
But paper is paper… As usual, in a collective sport, the result isn’t set in advance. And after the brilliant win of the “Bleus” in the crunch against England, what could we dream of? Of course, the French will do everything to win in front of their always present public. With this possibility, they hope to get an offensive bonus against the Italian formation far from being the favorites.
But perhaps are you wondering what’s the 2020 Six Nations Championship? It’s simply the biggest rugby union competition in Europe. The six countries are England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Wales and Italy. The winner gets the European champion title. Every year, in February and March, the best of European rugby meets in every country to try and get the grand slam: winning every single game. So, what are you expecting? Go and support your team!
