Get ready to see hundreds of horses crisscrossing the capital in June, as if you were living in the 19th century! On June 23, 2024, on the occasion of the Paris Eiffel Jumping, the Route Eiffel is back, tracing its path through the streets of Paris with an exceptional equestrian ride . It's an experience open to all passionate riders of galop 5 level and above, keen to try out new experiences, and their favorite horse. It's the perfect opportunity to get up high and rediscover the city and its monuments!
Every year, seasoned riders take to the streets of the capital, presenting the equestrian world to the public and the heritage of the Île-de-France region, with its diversity of French-bred horses! Nearly 60 horses will be on hand to criss-cross the capital, as this year's ride doesn't start at Versailles and lasts just one day.
Due to theOlympic Games, the show jumping competition could not take place under the Eiffel Tower, and was relocated near the Bois de Boulogne, on the Plaine de Jeux de Bagatelle. The Route Eiffel therefore looks a little different, this time taking you into the heart of nature to rediscover the magic of the Bois de Boulogne trails, on a verdant 17-kilometer circuit. The route covers 850 hectares of the capital's green lung, including the Hippodrome de Longchamp, the Château de Bagatelle and its rose garden, the Pré-Catelan, the Fondation Louis Vuitton and the lower lake.
And to round off the weekend in style, the finish line will take place on the competition track, for a festive fanfare parade!
