Paris looks like in the 19th century! On July 4 and 5, 2020 as part of Paris Eiffel Jumping 2020, the 7th edition of Route Eiffel finds its way to Paris streets with a never-seen-before equestrian excursion. An experience open to all passionate riders with level 5.
This year, skilled riders will quietly ride Paris streets. Route Eiffel 2020 equestrian excursion is also an eco-friendly approach respecting biodiversity. A vital window for the equestrian world, useful to highlight the French soil, the Île-de-France region heritage but most of all, the diversity of French horse races!
Moreover, Paris will look like how it did at the Belle Epoque for a weekend. All in all, no fewer than 100 horses will walk the Seine et Marne department and Paris. On Saturday July 4, enjoy a 25-km long nature ride through the Fontainebleau forest. Then, the excursion will end in the city center of Paris. On Sunday, it’s another event: enjoy a 100% urban and 3-hour long ride in the streets of Paris.
Is there a better way to start the excursion than doing it at the foot of the Eiffel Tower? First in front of the Ecole Militaire, the ride continues to the Trocadéro going under the most photographed building in the world. Then, head to the Champs-Elysées, the Place de la Concorde, the Place de la Bastille, the Invalides. And last but not least, you’ll end the best way possible: on the track of Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping. As a bonus, the mounted Garde Républicaine brass band. What else could you ask for? On your horse, guys!
