This year again, the Tour de France will crown its champion on the Champs-Elysées! But the start of the last stage will also be festive, since it is Paris La Défense Arena that will host it, on Sunday, July 24, 2022! For the occasion, nearly 10,000 spectators are expected to attend the start of the 21st stage of the Tour de France 2022 for free and enjoy a real popular celebration around cycling.
From 12:00, cycling fans and the curious can take part in the various activities set up, until the start at 16:30. On the program, a DJ set to welcome the spectators and set the mood all day long, a show of a tightrope walker on a bicycle inside the hall, the parade of the popular advertising caravan that will distribute goodies to the spectators, as well as a unique show of La Clique du Tour.
From 3:10 pm, the 22 men's teams will be presented to the public one by one on the giant stage installed in the heart of Paris La Défense Arena, before the departure of the riders for this last exceptional stage of the Tour de France 2022. The peloton will cross the business district of Paris La Défense, then the department of Yvelines before returning to Paris and the Champs-Elysées.
