The Course du Cœur 2021: a 750-km relay race to support organ donation

The 34th edition of the “Course du Coeur” will depart from Paris this Wednesday October 13, 2021 for 4 days of race between the capital city and Bourg St Maurice – les Arcs with one message… I say YES to organ donation! Do not miss the start of the race with many celebrities.

The Course du Coeur does it again and returns for the edition 2021 from Wednesday October 13 to Sunday 17. Departing from Paris, come and enjoy the start of the race that will make over 200 runners relay one another.

For the record, the Course du Coeur is a 4-day race, by day and by night, with a humanitarian and solidarity goal. It aims at raising awareness about the success of transplant and the necessity of donating organs.

The Course du Coeur is:

  • A 750-km non-stop relay race for four days and four nights from Paris to Les Arcs resort
  • Between 14 and 18 teams of 14 runners including 1 team of transplanted people (heart, liver, kidney, marrow bone…)
  • Over 200 cities crossed by a parade of over 100 vehicles
  • Stages from 10 to 60km and special stages: rollerblading, bike and run, flying relay,…
  • An 8-doctor special medical team with fitted medical gear
  • Over 140 volunteers for the races
  • Over 1,600 hotel guests
  • Over 3,200 meals served in inns, restaurants, baskets, by day and by night at the end of stages
  • Entertainers and musicians to support runners
  • A communications team supporting promotion and awareness about organ donation all along the race

You are welcome to support racers and bring hearts to the route and support organ donation.
