The Course de la Saint Valentin is back on Saturday February 10, 2018 for a fun and sporting 19th edition.
Organized every year by the FrontRunners de Paris, a lesbian, gay, bi trans-friendly running club in the Parisian region, this event expects couples again as well as single people looking for love in the majestic setting of Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.
All runners are welcomed: dressed up, solo, in mixt couple or not.
The primary objective of this race is to create a sporting and festive event with tow themes: running and Valentine’s Day. The race also raises awareness about discriminations particularly those related to sexual orientation.
The first challenge for couples in Paris, the Valentine’s Day race is the occasion to come and run with your +1 (man-man couple, woman-woman couple and man-woman couple). Test your love and your endurance at the same time.
In concrete terms, how does it work?
Find a partner for the race that’s to be completed in couple or play it solo. Solo runners will run a 10-km race, followed 3 minutes later by duos who will run 5-km only.
Please note that the single people who’d like to can try the Opération Cupidon. The principle is simple: you want to run the 6-km race in duo, but you have no partner? The Course de la Saint Valentin will find you one the day of the race.
Another key element of the race: the famous and colorful Pom Poms of Front Runners de Paris, will support you throughout the race.
