Open to all, this event expects couples and single people looking for Love with a big L in the majestic setting of Parc des Buttes-Chaumont for a crazy race organized every year for 20 years by the FrontRunners de Paris, a lesbian, gay, bi trans-friendly running club in the Parisian region.
The primary objective of this race is to create a sporting and festive event with tow themes: running and Valentine’s Day. The race also raises awareness about discriminations particularly those related to sexual orientation.
The first challenge for couples in Paris, the Valentine’s Day race is the occasion to come and run with your +1 (man-man couple, woman-woman couple and man-woman couple). Test your love and your endurance at the same time. As a duo, couple or single, you'll run a 5km race.
Feel like being part of the event but you're going solo? No probs! The Course de la Saint Valentin offers 10km route for sport lovers!
FrontRunners offers us an itinerary allowing beautiful discoveries within Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.
In concrete terms, how does it work?
Single people, who’d like to, can try the Opération Cupidon. The principle is simple: you want to run the 5-km race in duo, but you have no partner? The Course de la Saint Valentin will find you one the day of the race.
Bibs are to withdraw at the Gymnase Jean Jaurès the very day of the race from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or the day before from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Note the address, changing rooms for the race will be set up there.
After the race, FrontRunners expect us from 10 p.m. for a party aboard La Balle au Bond, facing the Louvre just to continue the talks started at the Buttes-Chaumont.
Don't wait for too long, registrations are open until Feb. 14, 2019 within the limit of 750 bibs available... You may miss a beautiful race!
