The new and 43rd edition of the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris will be held on Sunday April 14, 2019. This legendary race will start on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées and finish at the Porte Dauphine. Answer the question below the article to try and win one of the two bibs we have for you.

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is  back on Sunday April 14, 2019! As tradition would have it, participants will start  the race from the Champs Elysées and cover the legendary 42.195km throughout the French capital’s most beautiful streets, including two new monuments in 2019: the Opéra Garnier and the Place Vendôme.

For the rest, racers will run across the Place de la Concorde, in front of the City Hall, the Place de la Bastille, the Château de Vincennes, the Bois de Vincennes, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Musée d'Orsay, the Eiffel Tower and even the Bois de Boulogne...

Note that this year, 60,000 racers signed up to face this famous marathon. Last year, 42,095 ran it.

While waiting for the 43rd edition of the Marathon de Paris, we (re)discover the hit list 2018. Kenyan Paul Lonyangata repeated his exploit! Finishing once again as the first one in 2h06'25", he kept his title of champion. Then followed two other Kenyan: Mathew Kisorio (2h06'36") and Ernest Ngeno (2h06'41").

As for women, his fellow countrywoman Betsy Saina made it first in 2h22'56". She was followed by Kenyan Ruth Chepngetic (2h22'59") and Ethiopian Gulume Chala who made it third in 2h23'06".
