Prix de Diane Longines 2024: concert, chic picnic and elegance at the Hippodrome de Chantilly

Since 1843, the town of Chantilly has been home to the world's greatest filly race: the Prix de Diane Longines. This year, it's Sunday June 16, 2024 at theHippodrome de Chantilly, for an exceptional day of elegance, concerts and horse racing. Let's get dressed up for the most prestigious (and coolest) Garden Party of the season!

To get into the swing of things before the first race, start at midday with the Ladurée picnic on the lawns of the Village de Diane. Then it's time to join in the fun and entertainment that will keep the day going until nightfall. Party-goers will also have their own spot, the Folies de Diane, where they can follow the races with a royal view of the racecourse, in a privatized trackside area, entertained by DJ sets.

Between two races, you can't miss the famous Concours d'Elegance, in which you can of course take part! The only condition: come wearing your most eccentric hat possible. Then all you have to do is parade around, proudly displaying your hat in the height of creativity! A real highlight of this glamorous event, the competition attracts some 400 hatted women every year. The winner is crowned Mademoiselle Diane Longines and receives a sublime watch, courtesy of Longines.

Another must-see of the day? The legendary gallop race, reserved for the world's fastest 3-year-old fillies, at around 4pm. The day has plenty of thrills in store for us, and we're keeping the momentum going with an attraction that's unique in France, present for the second year running at the Village de Diane: a 15-metre-high toboggan lighthouse to provide sliding sensations for the whole family!

And as the mood is already in the right place, we're extending the party at the Folies de Diane with an after-race featuring over-the-top DJ sets.
