Make way for the famous 10km de Paris race! The latest in a trilogy of Parisian races, the 10km de Paris completes the capital's "running" offering after the Paris Half-Marathon and the Paris Marathon. This year, the race takes place on Sunday May 26, 2024 for its 6th edition .
TheAdidas 10K Paris is the ideal race to start out on your own, with family or friends .Whether you're in it for the performance or the fun, you're all welcome, whatever your level or goal.
A staple distance in road running , this event appeals equally to experienced athletes and novices. Athletes of all levels are invited to come along with their families, colleagues or neighbors: the Paris 10km is open to anyone born before 2006, i.e. aged 16 or over. Each participant is then free to run at his or her own pace to reach the finish line 10 km away.
The idea is to run around Paris' greatest monuments. The course ( 10 km for those who can't keep up) takes in some of Paris's most beautiful monuments.
The route has yet to be unveiled, but here's last year's: the start was at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Last year, the route crossed the Pont d'Iéna, passed by the Grand Palais, the Place du Carrousel, theOpéra Garnier, theEglise de la Madeleine before arriving at the Place de la Concorde .
This Sunday, May 26, 2024, you can run alone or in teams of two, four or eight runners, to represent your neighborhood. An individual ranking will include - as is tradition - all runners finishing the event. Team winners will be rewarded. Many running enthusiasts also come to try and beat their personal best on a very "rolling" course. The most comfortable running conditions are provided for this performance.
At the finish, the race village promises to be festive, with plenty of entertainment planned to delight participants and their loved ones!
