True FFA and IAAF competition, 20 kilomètres de Paris is probably the most mythical running experience in Paris as well as the most festive and popular one. Benefiting from 38 editions, 20 kilomètres de Paris is back on Sunday October 14, 2018, this race will gather between 25,000 and 30,000 runners from 100 countries in the streets of the French capital.
An exceptional route
The route want to highlight the most beautiful places in the west of Paris (the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadéro, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bois de Boulogne, Roland Garros, Maison de la Radio, the Grand Palais, the Tuileries, the Pont Royal, and the left banks…) while maintaining a high level of safety: a tourist tour of Paris for this 20-km race.
Fore more flow, the race will start in waves, all in all 20 waves of 1500 runners.

Think about signing up as early as possible to enjoy the best races. Let’s recall the edition 2017 of 20 kilomètres de Paris saw 25,000 runners from 105 countries departing. A beautiful 39th edition promoting street art and offering live works and artists.
Last year, Kenyan Collins Chebii won the race in 58 minutes and 28 seconds before Josphat Kiprono Menjo (58’34). French Florian Carvalho won 3rd place on the podium in 58 minutes and 40 seconds.
Moving on to women, it’s Ayele Gebaynesh who won the race in 1 hour 6 minutes and 2 seconds. In terms of parasport, the winner was French Philippe Le Gouic in 52 minutes and 21 seconds.
