If you happen to be near the Champs-Elysées, don't miss the chance to go and discover The Peninsula Paris superb winter terrace that takes over the large La Terrasse Kleber until the first week of January 2019.
On this enchanted terrace especially decorated for the holiday season, we fully dive into the magic of Christmas. Christmas bulbs hanging in the air, giant Nutcrackers and beautiful trees giving an enchanting dimension to the place. Igloos set between the food stands welcome you in the warm atmosphee of a winter cabin. Real cocoons of winter sweetness in which we take a seat to enjoy the treats provided by The Peninsula.
During the day, children and adults gather around holiday treats! The tantalizing smell of roasted chestnuts, cotton candy, golden pretzels and even Liège waffles whet the appetite. While other treats eye at us, we hesitate between warming our taste buds up with a delicious mulled wine or a hot chocolate. By roaming the stands, we can't do nothing but bitting off more than we can chew. But after all, it's Christmas and it's time to succomb to love of good food.
At nightfall, festive taste buds enjoy delicious produces thoroughly selected by the Palace executive chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, Christophe Raoux. On the menu: foie gras, salmon, caviar, oysters, sea urchins and other quality dishes that make our demanding taste buds happy. And to go along these festive delights, sommelier chef Nicolas Charrière prepared you a wonderful wine, champagne and vodka list. As many promises to enjoy delicious things without moderation!
In other words, a lovely winter break.
