Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris offers you to enjoy the last summer days at in a very bucolic and luxuriant way with Le Jardin de Joy.

How about an enchanted break in the heart of the Golden Triangle in Paris? Head to Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris turning – until September 16, 2018 – the Le Joy restaurant terrace into a green and unique garden sheltered from the hustle of the Champs-Elysées.

We love the bucolic atmosphere recreated for the occasion with the involvement of Maison Veuve Clicquot. If last year the orange trees where the star of the summer, in 2019, let's welcome sunflowers.

Temporary then, Le Jardin de Joy will satisfy your taste buds thanks to its barbecue to share. If you loved last year's picnic baskets, this year, you'll fall for Le Jardin de Joy's delicious grilled food.

The menu includes an assortment for starters (green gazpacho, Nice salad, cherry tomatoes and brousse cheese), grilled dishes with Big Green Egg barbecue inspired by a traditional Japanese cooking metho (lamb's chops, chicken skewers, seabass fillet, king prawns, squid) served with caponata, rapini and baby potatoes and chimichurri sauce, tzatziki and barbecuse sauce. And for desserts: roast seasonal fruits and sorbet.

As for us, we went for the starters and the main courses à la carte and our taste buds are still dreaming about it. We recommend for instance the surprising brousse cheese and tomato and basil soup with cone-shaped tomato (€22) or the lobster salad and carrot mousseline (€48). Two fresh, hearty and tasty starters.

Then, we went for the agria gnocchi, arugula and parmesan (€25) and the incredible organic Black Angus beef fillet heat and marrow bone (€54) served with Bilou potatoes, capers, button mushrooms and a devil sauce that spices things up a notch. A very de-li-cious dish.

Don't forget to go for a dessert, they are all very tasty. For instance, have some stawberry, cilantro and honey Fontainebleau (€16) or the Peach Melba (€16) likely to surprise and delight you.
