Escape from the noise of the city on the ephemeral terrace of the Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, the Secret Garden. The palace has reopened its doors and is once again revealing its exceptional terrace. Sip signature cocktails, enjoy Japanese flavored dishes and take a gourmet break created by its new pastry chef, Quentin Lechat.

The Royal Monceau Raffles Paris has reopened its doors after several months of closure. And like every year, the palace presents a green and quiet terrace with a view on the pool. This year, the curious will have the pleasure to find, for the second consecutive summer, the terrace named Secret Garden, where we find the summer menu of the Japanese gastronomic restaurant Matsuhisa.

Plant walls, soft colors, flowers, garlands of lights, all around the pond, everything is set up to make you forget the hubbub of the city. This Secret Garden, with 86 seats, invites you to relax.

This summer, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa is offering a culinary voyage of Japanese flavors. On the menu, red mullet sashimi, Wagyu tobanyaki; or salmon tataki without forgetting the desserts of pastry chef Quentin Lechat, Grand Prix de la Pâtisserie 2019. Something to enjoy with your eyes closed!

To toast the reunion with friends, the barman of the palace has developed several recipes for signature cocktails frankly chic such as the Hanami, a Spritz with Paponese flavors, or the Sipsmith Raffles 1915, reinterpretation of the Gin & Tonic. Also on the drinks menu is a selection of sakes, perfect for accompanying the above-mentioned dishes, not forgetting champagne to toast with bubbles!

In the afternoon, we enjoy a gourmet break from 3pm to 6pm. Quentin Lechat proposes us in this month of June, an excellent Tropézienne but also strawberry tartlets Anaïs, of wood or raspberry. Accompanied by a good non-alcoholic cocktail with rose essence or peppermint, and we are well.
