After the boutique hotels Monsieur Helder and Monsieur Cadet in the 9th arrondissement, and Monsieur Saintonge in the 3rd arrondissement, a new hotel has opened its doors: theMonsieur George hotel, in Paris's 8th arrondissement.
Located a stone's throw from the Champs-Elysées, this 5-star hotel offers 46 rooms and suites, as well as a bar and restaurant, in a beautiful, chic Haussmanian building. The entire project was imagined by English designer Anouska Hempel, who has signed her first contract in France.
With a British touch, Anouska Hempel has blended cosmopolitan and clean influences, in shades of deep, English and emerald greens. Oriental inspirations, from the Bosphorus, will also be very present, a region in which she regularly works.
The 40-seat restaurant, named Galanga, offers a simple, contemporary menu signed by chef Thomas Danigo, featuring hotel class ics and original creations . Signature dishes? Gambas ravioli, Yellowtail carpaccio, Cod with coconut milk and Galanga, and matured beef with seaweed teriyaki.
Last but not least, Monsieur George boasts a basement Spa designed by Le Tigre, the yoga club that has become a master in the art of relaxation and well-being.
