This year, Shangri-La Hotel Paris and Michaël Bartocetti offers a yule log as original as delicious. Indeed, since Christmas is first and foremost a family celebration, the chef took inspiration from his childhood memories to find the picture of an aesthetic object untouched by time. Therefore, a playful spinning-top is highlighted this year.
Impressive because of its height, this yule log will wonderfully decorate your Christmas table. Think about ordering it 72 hours prior. Delicately put in a special box, it will arrive perfectly all right on your family table.
In terms of flavors, the chef went for sure flavors in order to please children and adults. Chocolate was the perfect choice. Even more because the chocolate base is an absolute wonder! Like a mendiant, it contains dried fruits and roast walnuts, we love it!
Made of 5 parts to assembly, this spinning-top has several layers. Imagine a Madong chocolate from Papua New Guinea mousse on a traditional hazelnut praline with a creamy gianduja and a gingerbread biscuit, the whole laying on a hazelnut and salt flower crispy biscuit and coated with a delicate layer of 66% Caribbean chocolate.
Fresh, light and really soft in the mouth at the same time, this yule log will ideally end a copious Christmas dinner. You can enjoy the log at La Bauhinia table or at home after ordering it. A nice discovery we advise you.
For the holidays, a simpler version is also available at the tea parlor.
