Faithful to its origin, The Peninsula Hotels celebrates the Chinese New Year every year. This is the case of The Peninsula Paris celebrating the Brown Earth Dog Year with a lovely and delicious program.
This year, head to gastronomic restaurant Lili for an exceptional menu. The Cantonese restaurant welcomes a star guest, chef Chi Keung Tang from the starred restaurant Yi-Long from The Peninsula Shanghai.
For this New Year’s Eve Dinner, he creates two exceptional menus for Paris. On the New Year’s Eve, a unique program is held within the restaurant in the night of February 15 with the world-famous Lion Dance.
For those attending the dinner, The Peninsula Paris also plans a second Lion Dance on Saturday February 16 on the terrace Kleber, displaying the traditional red lanterns on the occasion. You know, this dance mixing show at kung Fu, accompanied by firecrackers and aiming at bringing luck and prosperity to guests and visitors. A lovely moment to immortalize in pictures if you’re passing by.
From February 5 to 21, The Peninsula Paris also displays a very beautiful exhibition. Discover Annie Leibowitz’s photographs. An artist who goes behind the scenes of the hotel to capture intense moments. Twelve exceptional black and white photographs are exhibited in the common rooms of the hotel.
For three weeks of celebrations, The Peninsula Shanghai therapist Tony Wu will share his expertise based on Chinese medicine traditional techniques. Guest can also discover the special “morning after a night out” treatments with Cha Ling l’Esprit tea and “Detox and Revitalizing” experience.
Finally, The Peninsula Paris, Maison Baccarat and Printemps join forces to offer exceptional moments to the Chinese clientele.
