Loyal to its origins, The Peninsula Hotels celebrates the Chinese New Year every year. This is the case of The Peninsula Paris celebrating the Year of the Rat (planned on January 25, 2020) with a lovely and delicious program mixing food, wellness and haute-couture, held from January 15 to February 2, 2020. On the occasion, the palace will be covered in red.
First highlight of the festivities, the "New Lunar Year" special menu by chef Dicky TO at the Cantonese gourmet restaurant, Lili.
Served on January 24 and 25, 2020, this €188 menu (per person) is based on recipes mixing fresh French ingredients and Cantonese specialties.

In addition to this menu, chef Dicky TO offers a selelction of traditional Cantonese dishes available on Lili's menu from January 21 to 25, 2020.
On Chinese New Year's Eve, Friday January 24, 2020, a dance of the lion and musicians will entertain the evening. A second lion dance is planned on the Terrasse Klébert (The Peninsula's covered terrace), lit in red thanks to traditional paper lanterns.
To start off the year of the Rat in peace, the Peninsula spa offers a special "vital energy" experience the day after the New Year with meditation-breathing, purifying face care, acupressure, face massage with two accessories (Gua Sha and Ridoki) and hand or feet massage.
Last but not least, for fashion lovers, the Peninsula has planned a shopping session to start the new year off the right food with new outfits with a stylist and unique pieces.
