The Cour Jardin, the Plaza Athénée's summer terrace, is back with its open-air cinema

Thesummer of 2023 will be beautiful and hot. So if you want to relax on a confidential and green terrace, head for the Plaza Athénée ! Indeed, from May to the end of September 2023, the grand hotel will unveil its Cour Jardin, a true haven of peace. Surrounded by flowers and greenery, it is a true haven of peace where you can enjoy an idyllic lunch far from the city bustle.

In this secret place, the chef Jean Imbert has prepared for us a menu in the colors of summer. The lunches and dinners offered have something to please us, appealing to all the senses, textures and tastes. The Cour Jardin is a real cocoon, where you can live a moment out of time and enjoy a casual lunch or a romantic dinner.

Entirely covered with Virginia creeper and red geraniums, under a sky of lanterns, La Cour Jardin offers an idyllic setting. The codes of the palace are preserved, with a tailor-made service and special attentions. Jean Imbert and Jocelyn Herland, the hotel's Executive Chef, put flavors and taste sensations on the menu, inspired by what nature does best in summer.

The menu honors plants in all their forms and celebrates the chef's partners: farmers, gardens, fishermen and breeders. Noble products are treated with great simplicity, respecting the seasons. This is the perfect way to put our consumption back on the path of seasonality.

Pastry chef Elisabeth Hot brings a sweet touch to this culinary philosophy, working the summer products in the same way as the whole meal. La Cour Jardin encourages us to breathe, savor and relax, letting ourselves be carried away by an air of well-deserved vacation.

Finally, following the success of the first edition, La Cour Jardin du Plaza Athénée will be transformed once again into an open-air cinema, from June 26 to 30, 2023. In collaboration with the MK2 film group, the restaurant will offer 5 cult films, accompanied by 5 unusual and original menus adapted to the theme of each film. The program will be available from June 1, 2023.
