Christmas, for some it’s all about the snowflakes, tales, fir cones and even bells. For Angelo Musa, Pastry World Champion and Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Alexandre Dufeu, Plaza Athénée pastry chef, it’s a wonderful forest of white pine trees covered in snow.
Indeed, this year, the chefs came up with a wonderful and gourmet forest to share. Think, 7 pine trees of different sizes (but weighing the same, the smaller ones being chubbier, no more jealousy), set on a base that is actually a dark chocolate mendiant filled with dried and confit fruits.
The trees are inspired by Angelo Musa’s signature dessert 100% made of vanilla. A very successful dessert worthy of its fame if you haven’t tasted it yet. Madagascar vanilla cake, crispy biscuit, cream and mousse, the whole frosted with white chocolate, it’s so delicious. Its lightness and its sweetness will delight even the most demanding mouths (especially our small budding gastronomes’).
What if we bring not one but 7 pine trees for Christmas?
