New Year’s Eve dinner 2020 at Ducasse’s ORE restaurant at the Palace of Versailles

For New Year’s Eve dinner 2020, Alain Ducasse plans an exceptional menu in his ORE restaurant at the Palace of Versailles. Called “New Year’s Eve Festivities – The Courtesan Ball”, the dinner gives pride of place to the most noble produces. Come and taste the castle life, like during King’s time, for a night on December 31, 2019.

As for each dinner held at the ORE restaurant by Alain Ducasse at the Palace of Versailles, the menu is always exceptional.
But, for the New Year’s Eve dinner 2020, the meal called “New Year’s Eve Festivities – The Courtesan Ball” sounds even more remarkable with a dinner in several courses with exceptional meals and wines.

New Year’s Festivities – The Courtesan Ball” is served in 8 courses and for €1000 per guest including wine pairing.
This meal will make you have a night in the shoes of a courtesan in the 17th century invited to one of those famous royal parties in Versailles.

Here’s the program of the “New Year’s Eve Festivities – The Courtesan Ball”:

  • 6:30 p.m.: Departure in a VIP chauffeured bus from the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris.
  • 7:30 p.m.: The night is here, the entrance gate is ajar, two head waiters escort you by torchlight to the Dufour Pavillon.
  • 8 p.m.: Let the festivities begin with an appetizer accompanied by champagne.
  • 9 p.m.: “Ladies and gentlemen, to the King’s Table!”, staff elegantly dressed, menu feely inspired by the ceremonial meals of Louis XIV, re-edited Marie-Antoinette porcelain service ‘à la française’, you are at the King’s table, a long table for all guests.
  • 12 a.m.: The celebration hour, after the 12 strokes of midnight, follow the Grand Maestro for a glass of champagne in front of an opulent buffet of fresh and confit fruits, champagne and cakes.
  • 1:45 a.m.: The party ends, the evening comes to a close. The lights are turned off, the Palace goes to sleep, the gates close. Wonderful memories will remain.

The two-way trip between Paris and Versailles is included in the price. It’s much more comfortable not to have to drive after drinking wine and champagne.
