Bastille Day on July 14th: Firemen's Ball in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (94) on July 13, 2023

In France, the Fête Nationale is celebrated on July 14th, with a military parade and fireworks display around the Eiffel Tower in Paris. But in addition to these festivities, there are many other popular festivals organized in communes all over France.

This July 13 , 2023, the residents of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés are invited to celebrate at the Saint-Maur fire station, located on avenue Louis Blanc, for the traditional firemen's ball, held from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.! Throughout the evening, and well into the night, you can dance, sing and have fun with friends and family to celebrate Bastille Day.

Saint-Maur-des-Fossés is a very old town in the Val-de-Marne, adorned with various monuments built over the centuries by different rulers. These include the ruins of an abbey built in 639, several fortifications and many other traces of the town's rich and eventful past.

Today, the town is especially appreciated by the people of Ile-de-France for its cultural festivals, including Rock sur Marne and Jazz en Boucle. It's the perfect place to have fun with music and celebrate the Fête Nationale!
