Every year, Versailles makes its best to celebrate Bastille Day as it should be… The evening starts at 9 p.m. into the marketplace before letting off the firework on the parade ground.
However since 2017, the city hall after deciding to call off the celebration explains that following dramatic events arose during gatherings, the firework facing the Palace has been cancelled this year.
To enjoy the party, you will have to go to another city or you will have to go to the firemen's ball that returns to Versailles after 40 years of absence! The city's firemen will welcome inhabitants for a party. The benefits of the party will be donated to the Oeuvre des Pupilles des sapeurs-pompiers (access for €10, including the admission ticket + a drink + a gift, free for people under 16 years old).
Versailles Palace invited Groupe F for an enchanting show, the fire king, you can attend on July 6, 7, 12 and 13, 2018 in the Orangery gardens. A delight for the eyes?
