Fête Nationale in Savigny-sur-Orge (91): July 13, 2023 fireworks cancelled

The Savigny-sur-Orge fireworks display originally scheduled for the evening of July 13, 2023 has been cancelled. The National Police, the General Staff and the Fire Brigade have declared the context unfavorable. For the moment, the town has given no information on whether the firemen's ball will be maintained or cancelled.

Fête Nationale 2023 is just around the corner! If you live in Savigny-sur-Orge or the surrounding area, the traditional fireworks display is well and truly planned, but please note that it will be held in the commune on July 13, 2023, not July 14. Don't get the wrong date - you'll be disappointed, and so will your little ones!

To witness this spectacular fireworks display, head for the Parc des Sports Jean-Moulin (opposite the rugby grandstand). Rendezvous at 11:15pm on Wednesday, July 13. As the theme of the show is Harry Potter, the town is offering you the chance to dress up as your favorite wizard! But beware: full-face masks and imitation weapons are forbidden. Admission is, of course, free.

But that's not all! From 7pm to 4am this Thursday, you'll also be able to dance the night away. The firefighters' rescue center on route de Morangis will be hosting the traditional firemen's ball! Once again, admission is free and the ball is open to all.
