Advent calendar 2021 by A La Mère de Famille designed by Pénélope Bagieu

Every year, the oldest chocolate factory in Paris, A la Mère de Famille offers an Advent calendar shaped like the house! And for 9 years now, it combines good food and art, calling in a famous artist to draw it.

In 2017, it is Sempé that mischievously drew the advent calendar, then, drawer Zeina Abirached did it, and in 2020, illustrator Chris Ware stepped in.

This year, Pénélope Bagieu has been entrusted with designing the A La Mère de Famille's 2021 Advent Calendar. For the chocolate factory, the artist has designed an Advent Calendar 2021 like a genuine Parisian building you can open, window after window to discover inhabitants' private life. A go-to!
