The Christmas Chalet at the Ritz Paris returns to Place Vendôme to offer gift ideas and gourmet treats. Join us from December 6 to 31, 2023 to experience the magic of the festive season, with a special surprise this year. This year, the square will be even more enchanting, with the appearance of a merry-go-round: a carousel of small horses in the colors of the Ritz Paris.
To celebrate its 125th anniversary, the Ritz Paris invites young and old to discover a world of refined gourmet delights and festive magic. The chalet, elegantly set up next to the fairy-tale carousel, is sure to delight gourmands with exclusive creations by pastry chef François Perret.
On the menu: the white fir tree, a large gluten-free almond-cinnamon shortbread, and the praline-pecan crousti, the ultimate gourmet treat as the chef calls it, which we love. Crunchy from start to finish with its vanilla custard, praline and crunchy pecans, don't miss it. To warm up, there's nothing like mulled wine or our signature hot chocolate, a Panama 70% with spicy, floral notes. If you like real hot chocolate with body, you've come to the right place!
For souvenir lovers or those in search of unique gifts, the chalet offers emblematic Ritz Paris items. These include a blue "groom" teddy bear, a limited-edition notebook adorned with the golden Ritz sun, and 100% French cowhide leather pouches. The chalet is the ideal place to find exceptional gifts and enjoy top-of-the-range treats.
Note that the Carrousel du Ritz Paris, on Place Vendôme, is open free of charge from Wednesday to Sunday, 3pm to 8pm. So don't go on Mondays or Tuesdays - you'll be disappointed. With its gold and blue hotel colors, it offers an enchanted interlude just a stone's throw from the Tuileries Christmas Market. Children, accompanied by their parents, can enjoy a ride on glittering horses and spinning tops. For safety reasons, the ride is only accessible to children over 3 years of age. Children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent on the carousel.
Bonus: the Golden Ticket, a unique concept proposed by the Ritz Paris, also offers the chance to win a night at the prestigious hotel with dinner at the Bar Vendôme. Each purchase at the chalet entitles the holder to a numbered ticket, one of which is the precious Golden Ticket, to be drawn on January 5, 2024.
