How about a Christmas market like in the Middle Ages? The town of Provins invites you to experience an enchanting weekend of exceptionalChristmas entertainment at its Marché Médiéval de Noël, scheduled for Saturday December 9 and Sunday December 10, 2023 . Nearly 60 demonstrating craftsmen will take you back in time to present their wares: calligraphers, hatters, heraldry specialists, blacksmiths, cabinetmakers and many more, to discover rare skills!
This Unesco World Heritage city doesn't do things by halves when it comes to festivities, and pays tribute to its medieval past. In the upper town, the Gardes-Foires de Champagne association prepares shows featuring troubadours and fire jugglers, to amaze children and adults alike! Don't miss the medieval ball and banquet, where you can try your hand at the dances of yesteryear.
In the lower town, a craft market awaits you, with gastronomic specialities, mulled wine, jewelry and decorative items, not forgetting the presence of Santa Claus, his letterbox to tell him about your gift wishes, a big tombola with the shopkeepers and an advent calendar for all the children!
