In December, about thirty exhibitors make passersby happy in the Square Viviani, Quai Montebello. A small artisanal Christmas Market where gastronomy and crafts get on well with one another promising then to make you discover many artisans and tasty local products.
This market stands out, in comparison with the others, because of the exclusive presence of artisans and creators. Here, you won’t find the usual market and very expensive items but hand-made creations.
Home decor items, candles, ceramics, glass-maker, hand-painted Christmas bulbs, silk scarves or hand-knitted cashmere and mohair scarves, silver jewels or with gemstones, wood tys, leather book, creations are selected for their quality. You also have olive-tree carved crèches.
French gastronomy is given pride of place with local products such as dry sausage, foie gras, macarons, pretzels, warm chestnuts, mulled wine, cheeses...
It's a quality market that goes to meet artisans and their know-how that is also on the menu. It's not for nothing that this market has been awarded in 2017 the title of "Paris most charming Christmas market".
For the aperitif, toast with spicy mulled wine while listeing to jazz music after having your picture taken with Santa Claus on the market all day long. Drawing your letter to Santa for free for kids and lucky draw on Sundays to win a giant soft toy are also on the menu.
The perfect walk for lovers of human-sized and friendly markets!
