Coronavirus in France as of March 4: 293 Covid deaths, and 25,279 new cases

Here are the latest data as for the Covid-19 epidemic in France. According to Santé Publique France’s latest data, France reports 293 extra hospital deaths in 24h. This Thursday March 4, 2021, the death toll includes 87,835 deaths, and 25,279 new cases have been reported in 24h.

In France, according to the latest report from the health authorities as for the COVID-19 pandemic, about 3,835,595 cases have been reported naming +25,279 in 24h. 

This Thursday March 4, 202187,835 people have died including 293 deaths in 24 hours have been reported. The death toll in nursing homes states 24,973 deaths. And 62,862 (+293 in 24h) people have died in hospitals. 

The reproduction rate R reaches 1.09, the incidence rate reaches 222, and the hospital pressure is at 70.6%. Positivity rate reaches 7.14%.

In France, 24,891 (-220) people are at the hospital, including 3,633 (-4) serious cases in ICU

According to Santé Publique France data, all departments are currently vulnerable.

  • Brittany: 655 people hospitalized, and 9 deaths in 24h
  • Normandy: 1,219 people hospitalized, and 12 deaths in 24h
  • Nouvelle-Aquitaine: 1,221 people hospitalized, and 23 deaths in 24h
  • Pays de la Loire: 763 people hospitalized, and 5 deaths in 24h
  • Occitanie: 1,534 people hospitalized, and 30 deaths in 24h
  • Centre-Val de Loire: 1,024 people hospitalized, and 13 deaths in 24h
