The Hauts-de-Seine prefecture confirms the Paris La Défense Arena vaccination hub opens from Monday May 3, 2021. The huge vaccination center set in Europe's biggest show venue in Nanterre can vaccinate over 1,000 people per day.

Paris La Défense Arena soon to be transformed into a vaccination hub? This is what confirmed the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture on April 2 to our peers from France Bleu Paris. Since then, the departmental prefect stated this huge vaccination center will open from Monday 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. in Nanterre. It will then open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Biggest arena in Europe, Paris La Défense Arena is the site chosen by the department to settle the vaccination hub expected to vaccinate over 1,000 people in a day. The prefecture also said this mega vaccination center will open to complete the department’s “ambulatory centers”.

So far, anyone aged 60+ is eligible for vaccination in this new Ile-de-France vaccination hub. Furthermore, we remind you that people of at least 50 years of age, suffering from obesity, can be vaccinated from May 1.
