Paris La Défense Arena soon to be transformed into a vaccination hub? This is what confirmed the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture on April 2 to our peers from France Bleu Paris. Since then, the departmental prefect stated this huge vaccination center will open from Monday 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. in Nanterre. It will then open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Biggest arena in Europe, Paris La Défense Arena is the site chosen by the department to settle the vaccination hub expected to vaccinate over 1,000 people in a day. The prefecture also said this mega vaccination center will open to complete the department’s “ambulatory centers”.
So far, anyone aged 60+ is eligible for vaccination in this new Ile-de-France vaccination hub. Furthermore, we remind you that people of at least 50 years of age, suffering from obesity, can be vaccinated from May 1.
